We don't want 8.6 to regress on the 8.10 branch either, so I'm afraid we better get this working on |

The recent updates to the bundled nixpkgs hopefully make this unnecessary. |

Per obsidiansystems/obelisk#869, this pr demonstrates the backported fix to the
darwinlinker infrastructure fix nix on big sur.It is based on the
ghc-810branch as basing it on thenixpkgs-20.09branch caused GHC to fail to build when enteringnix-shell(failed for reasons other than the linker.).I was able to succesfully enter the try-reflex shell on big sur.
Feel free to close this when obsidiansystems/nixpkgs#15 is resolved.
