A netCDF-LD alias is a URI that is substituted in each place where a corresponding netCDF-LD element is found.

A netCDF-LD alias is defined by a netCDF string attribute with a name equal to the netCDF-LD element to match and a value equal to the URI to substitute for the matched element. Alias definitions can be created as attributes on a group that acts as a container.
