Description
Please fill out the following:
-
Sway Version:
1.6 -
Debug Log:
This is not reproducible with sway being launched manually from the shell (with or without debug logging). The bug only appears if GDM is used to start sway. -
Configuration File:
This works with the default configuration -
Stack Trace:
None, also not for thunderbird -
Description:
When starting sway via GDM, Thunderbird usually disappears once you open the preferences and close it again (maybe repeated once or twice). This does not happen if sway is launched manually from a terminal (with or without debug logging). There's no core dump available for Thunderbird incoredumpctl
after it has disappeared. When launching Thunderbird from a terminal inside a GDM sway session, the following message is logged once it disappears:Gdk-Message: 10:04:34.211: Error reading events from display: Broken pipe
I can't find any sway logs when sway is started from GDM. Is there any location where a log should be present in such a configuration?
