Is it possible to swap header-line and mode-line?

nano is beautiful! But, the header-line in nano has all the info that 25 years of muscle memory has me looking for in the mode-line. Is it difficult to swap header-line and mode-line? I tried a simple swap of mode-line and header-line in all strings in all the nano*.el files, but that didn't work, shockingly ;-)

One option is to use nano-modeline that is available on ELPA and you can choose if you want it on top or bottom. Else, you can modify line 471 and replace header-line by mode-line.
