Readthedocs search missing arcade.draw_sprite

I was searching for draw_sprite on https://api.arcade.academy and was surprised that arcade.draw_sprite was not found.

It is here: https://api.arcade.academy/en/latest/api_docs/api/drawing_primitives.html#arcade.draw_sprite

When I build the docs locally with ./make.py html it is found.

This is just an example - I think generally the search results aren't great/complete.

Maybe look into RTD search config or change over to Sphinx search?

There's definitely something fishy going on here. Tried to search on a few other things and it's a bit hit and miss.

Update from what einarf mentioned today on Discord:

I know there is a bug in the api doc generator some some members. They don't end up in the right namespace

This seems to be in accordance with things I've observed in the past and provides a lead for further investigation.
