parts of a requirement vs atomic requirements #58

Description

The definition for “part of a requirement", “Collection of requirements that are parts to a requirement” is rather confusing, at least it confuses me.

In subclause, 7.4. Documenting the Standard, it is stated that “The ModSpec defines a “requirement” of a standard as an atomic testable criterion”. How is “atomic” to be understood? I understand “atomic” in this context as a synonym of “indivisible”, hence a requirement cannot of consist of parts. Does a requirement contain exactly one criterion? Or can it contain several criteria?
