When will the project be ready to provide an .iso?

Hello, I tried to get the image built via nixos but it failed with issues I couldn't troubleshoot. I am interested in this project but the hurdles I have faced in simply trying it out, in addition to no longer having [interest in] access to an installed nixOS means that I still am going to have to wait until the team decides to distribute the project in a more accessible format, such as an ISO or qcow2 image.

If you are planning on accepting donations at any point, please reconsider the current approach to distribution of the project if at all possible, and I would be considerably more motivated to donate if I could try the project out.

We're approaching the ability to generate an iso with installer tools, though it's not the immediate goal right now. I was able to boot a usb live image image (not an iso, but close enough) on my laptop a week ago that was built not from nixos but from my ubuntu machine with nix sideloaded, so you should still be able to follow the instructions from #26.

This project is still very young, so while we're trying to make it as accessible as possible, being able to charge ahead on the development side (a team of two people with day jobs!) is still the priority.

I'll see about building the qcow2 for you based on main today. We are currently fumbling with a few PRs on both this side and the nixpkgs side, and the build errors flow freely...
