I am used to i3 but use a Mac at work and when a colleague told me about Aerospace a week ago I was so happy I could leave the horrors of Mac's window/desktop management behind. Thanks @nikitabobko for creating it. Unfortunately, I do a lot of CPU intensive work and code editor spinning up too many language servers is a common occurrence so IMO this is the most pressing issue with Aerospace at the moment. Having to wait for 5-10 seconds for a virtual desktop change make Aerospace unusable under CPU load. Side note: this colleague stopped using Aerospace because of this issue. |

When CPU load on my Mac is high (often for an unhealthy reason - the latest one was IntelliJ freezing while holding on to 100% on a couple of cores), Aerospace becomes borderline unresponsive.
I propose to configure the nice in the autolaunch plist to
-10
or something to give the window manager a higher priority.Beta Was this translation helpful? Give feedback.
