In case the plugin loses support, Will there be a form to rescue and decrypt the notes?

In case the plugin loses support will we lose our data? What encryption process is used when encrypting?

Not a maintainer here, but I guess if the plugin does not get any new updates it just means no new features, however decrypting your notes should still be possible. If you want to make sure, you might fork this repository to keep a version of the plugin that would be able to decrypt your notes, even if this repo gets deleted.

I do not know exactly how notes are encrypted but you can look through the code if you want to.

Please also take note of the warning in the repo's README. Even though I personally use this plugin since quite a bit of time now and never had problem with it, we still use it at our own risk.
