Hi @cve-exp, You're not going to like this, but not really. The only thing that I can suggest is to try with a previous version of the note from a backup. What version of obsidian and the plugin were you using at the time? Were you using the built in sync from obsidian or something else? If you open the file in a text editor (e.g. vscode) does it look corrupt in any way? It should be formatted in JSON. |

I have been using meld encrypt to encrypt a very important file and suddenly it started to respond in Obsidian with “decryption failed” even though I am 100% certain that the password is correct. I have a sync setup b/w my Windows PC and Iphone. The file is synced but just won't decrypt. Anything that can be done to decrypt it? Any way to fix this?
