Could you provide the actual run command or compose file you're using? How are you assigning this IP address you mentioned, |

… Any tailscale configuration that you can share? I am not a tailscale user
but I am wonder if it is routing traffic across the tailscale VPN that is
destined for your software controller, essentially black holing the traffic
off to a network where it won't respond. The fact that it only stops
working with the VPN points me in the direction of figuring out what is
going on.
If you're able to share your routing table when connected and when not
connected, that might help as well. Use sudo route -n to show the routes.

If I disable the route I still can't connect outside of Lan (obviously)
And can connect when I'm in LAN
So it's all the same

So is that the output of your routes when Tailscale is connected? What
happens if you turn off Tailscale, disable the subnet route setting for
your subnet and reconnect. Are you able to connect to your controller then
with the subnet unchecked?

When I try to remote in via tailscale
I can access another container in my unraid but not omada
That's the issue

Wait, so you *can* connect when you're on the LAN? Sorry, I thought the
whole problem was that when you are not able to access your controller when
Tailscale is enabled. Is the problem that you're trying to solve that you
are not able to connect to the controller when you're connected *over*
the Tailscale network, then?
If that is the case, where are you trying to connect from? What network
are you trying to connect from when you're trying to connect *over* the
Tailscale network? As in, what is your local IP address you're getting from
whatever network you're on when you need to use Tailscale? If your local IP
is in the 192.168.0.0/24 subnet range and then you connect to Talescale
to your network which is also a 192.168.0.0/24 subnet, it's not going to
connect.

What network are you trying to connect from when you're trying to connect
over the Tailscale network?
In this case my job Lan is 172.16 range
But my tailscale IP can be seen in the photos it's 100.xxx.xx
As in, what is your local IP address you're getting from whatever network
you're on when you need to use Tailscale?
It's same range has above
My local IP on tailscale is (on my phone) 100.77.71.56
