Prerequisites
To use the Atlassian Rovo GitHub Copilot extension, you need:
- Atlassian Intelligence is activated on your Atlassian site.
- Atlassian Rovo is activated on your Atlassian site.
- An active GitHub Copilot plan on your GitHub Organisation.
- VSCode with the GitHub Copilot extension installed.
- A GitHub Organisation admin to help approve and install the agent.
Setup
- Select Add.
- When asked, select the GitHub organization through which Copilot is enabled, then select Install to confirm. (Only the GitHub Organisation admin can proceed with this action)
- When asked, log in with your Atlassian credentials.
- Choose an Atlassian site from the dropdown menu, then select OK.
- The enterprise/organisation admin has to enable extensions in Copilot settings by following this guide.
By installing Atlassian Rovo for GitHub Copilot, you acknowledge that data, including any third party data you've connected to Rovo, that is processed while using the extension is subject to GitHhub's (including GitHub Copilot) terms and privacy policy.
Requirements
Copilot Extensions require an active GitHub Copilot license.
