Establish the direction/Technology look/feel for the site

I have wanted to just fork and plug away for the site, but before I go do things, just wondering about how should the site look? What site should we "mimic" in our site? Should we use jekyll or other static site generator such as hugo? What's the preferred tech for the community?

I'm planning to push this site to a real domain using one of my servers or a static site hoster (gh-page/netlify/vercel comes to mind), and got the domain plug.org.ph at least for the next 3 months, which I think sounds cool

Maybe also ask on the FB group and on the plug-misc ML as well, though for first steps maybe

• Site could be a gateway for the FB group, MLs, and IRC/Matrix
• Longer articles (history, guest posts) for later
• Use static site hosting (GH pages is already here,) generating backend tech doesn't matter much as long it can be driven under CI/CD to publish pages
• Unless you plan to hold plug.org.ph for longer than 3 months, maybe better to use the GH subdomain for now
