Window capture works until window is hidden by a tab, and never recovers

Using google meet. Selecting a window to share works:

If the window is sharing a workspace with another tab:

Once the other tab is selected:

Window sharing no longer works:

Switching back to the shared tab does not recover sharing. Hiding the window by switching workspaces doesn't not break sharing, and still works. Just tabs.
