Code coverage testing on CI

We added many unit and e2e tests, but no code coverage statistics help check the effectiveness. Since a lot of changes has been added since 0.12.18, it deserves to go a further step to collect related coverage. We can add more e2e tests according to the coverage and cover critical paths before next release.
