System Shock 1 Enhanced: Requires the installation of DAW patch.

Problem
While SSE recognizes OMNIMIDI as an option when in the configuration menu, it only uses the default GS soundfont.

Expected behavior
The ability to use soundfonts like Timbres of Heaven v4.0 and the like.

Environment

• Operating system: Windows 11 Enterprise
• CPU: Ryzen 3600
• RAM: 64 gigs.
• MIDI application: System Shock 1 Enhanced
• Version of the driver: 1.4.7.1

Additional context
Others have mentioned this issue on the GOG forum. They say that OMNI MIDI works fine for other applications, just not System Shock Enhanced without the DAW patch.
