Questions on audio

Hey so I wanted to know what exactly was done to get audio working on the steam deck OLED moddle, i am currently installing arch linux on the steam deck OLED and after following a few guides and wikis it seems my only choice left is to compile software which seems complicated to say the least, I dac isn't showing up at all to alsa.

So if you could give any advice or tell me how nix is did it that would be every helpful

So dose jovians nix os do anything with the kerrbel that's special for audio or dose it tell the kerrbel to apply a spefic driver to a specific chip

We use the Valve kernel, that has a lot of sound related stuff for OLED models.

Ahh ok is there anything that I can do that would make it not kerrnel panic on boot

Also what repo should I use exactly I want a very up to date kerrnel preferably atleast 6.12 but I still want it to be mostly stable

The kernel we use is at https://github.com/jovian-Experiments/linux. I can't help you with your kernel panic issue.

Ok so should j use the jovians nix is kerrnel for this or should I use the steam Neptune kerrnel for arch on the steam deck oled
