How do you use this repository?

Hi,

I would like to know how do you use this repository?
I guess you link dell-inspiron-e1505/default.nix to /etc/nixos/configuration.nix or import it.

Maybe I should extend the README :).

1. Make sure your nix-channels includes nixos-hardware. The first part of https://github.com/NixOS/nixos-hardware#setup says how to do do that.

2. Clone this. I just keep it in my home directory for easy editing and symlink it. Root is still needed to deploy so I don't think keeping the "live" version there is a security risk.

   cd ~/git/
   git clone git@github.com:Ericson2314/nixos-configuration
   sudo ln ~myusername/git/nixos-configuration /etc/nixos/

3. Make /etc/nixos/configuration.nix. Mine looks like:

   { config, pkgs, ... }:
   
   {
     imports = [
       ./nixos-configuration/dell-xps-15-9550
       # other things for work
     ]; 
   }

4. populate user directory

   cd ~
   ln ~/git/nixos-configuration/user/.{conig, thinga,thingb,thingc} ~/
   ln ~/.config/nvim/init.vim ~/.vimrc
