"X" - in Auto Allying function doesn't work

When player activate "Auto Allying" function, he can define teams to start positions (A, B, C, D) and there are also "x" and "-".
As it says there "x" does not allow the player to occupy this position.
But this option does not work. Players still can occupy this position.

Can you confirm this reported bug happens on normal non custom maps, or is it just this map?

Yes. It doesn't work also with non custom maps.

Player chose the third position himself despite the fact that it was closed:

I thought you need the random starts enabled or else anyone can pick (which overrides the x). Although I just forced four players at random locations with one marked X and the game launched (which it should've crashed or not launched?)
